Arizona Elk Society (AES) is a non-profit based in Arizona and has been in existence since 2001. Our mission is to benefit Arizona’s wildlife by generating resources for habitat conservation and restorations to preserve our outdoor heritage for present and future generations to come.

Heroes Rising Outdoors is a program of the Arizona Elk Society whose mission is to provide veterans the chance to get outdoors and participate in activities that they may have felt were no longer possible. We believe healing can occur through outdoor recreational opportunities, and by placing these veterans in the beautiful outdoors, they get the opportunity to relax and unwind while feeling like they are part of a community that cares for them. It allows them to bond with other servicemen and women who have been through the same experiences they have. Veterans who have been through our programs return to volunteer at other projects and events, wanting to give back to the community themselves.

To help support the mission of the Heroes Rising Outdoors Program we are holding a charity Golf Tournament at Coyote Lakes Golf Course on February 26, 2027. The format is a four-man scramble with a 7:30 am Shotgun Start. We will have a $10,000 dollar hole-in-one prize as well as many raffles, and prizes. Lunch will be included. Come join us in some great fun and fellowship supporting a great cause.
