The American Legion is a 100% volunteer-led, 501(c)(19), non-profit organization. All funds raised at our upcoming charity golf fundraiser will cover the event’s expenses, with all remaining proceeds dedicated directly to the repair and restoration of the wall at the Veterans Memorial Monument located at the foot of East Afton Ave and River Rd in Yardley, PA. The memorial was built to honor local residents who served in all branches of our armed forces and gave their lives defending the freedom we enjoy daily, with each name inscribed on the monument. Unfortunately, time, weather, and natural
attrition of materials have taken their toll. We hope to raise $18,000 to bring the memorial back to its original condition / full completion. We welcome any questions, comments, and/or feedback on who we are and what we do, as well as support for this important cause. If you are unable to attend the golf tournament and would like to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated. Please keep in mind your donation is tax deductible as well.
