The Latino Business Association Foundation (LBAF) exists for one powerful purpose: to serve as a bridge to higher education for low-income Latino young adults —transforming potential into possibility, one scholar at a time.  This is our sole fundrasier.

Since its inception in 1997, the LBAF has awarded more than $800,000 in scholarships and grants to deserving students across our region. In the fall of 2025 alone, the Foundation distributed approximately $16,500 in new awards — continuing a proud tradition of investing in the next generation of Latino leaders.

Our scholars have gone on to attend some of the nation’s most prestigious institutions, including Duke
University, Harvard University, UC San Diego, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Merced, San Francisco State
University, Stanislaus State University, and Modesto Junior College — and many more.
