Welcome Friends, Family, and Supporters!

The members of the Wake-Robin Golf Club, Inc., request the pleasure of your company during our 2025 Helen Webb-Harris Founders’ Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament.

On Monday June 1, 2026, we will host a four-person golf scramble that will be held at The Country Club at Woodmore, 12320 Pleasant Prospect, Mitchellville, Maryland 20721.

Who we are
The Wake-Robin Golf Club, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3), was founded in 1937 by thirteen innovative and committed African American women. They were instrumental in the desegregation of golf courses in Washington, D.C., and the opening of the renowned Langston Golf Course. We are proud to have grown the vision of these early pioneers – making a difference by leading, advocating, strengthening, and promoting the game of golf for women.

What we do
During the past eight decades, our fundraising activities have supported local community programs such as The First Tee and Food & Friends, Inc. We have also mentored new golfers and hosted educational and skill-level golf clinics. Recently, we expanded our outreach to regional and national charitable initiatives focused on women’s health, provided scholarships to minority college-bound high school girls, and targeted participation with junior golf programs. Particularly noteworthy, we supported a potential LPGA Tour future golf candidate.

How you can help
Our work is far from done. We are seeking financial support to advance our special initiatives – scholarship and community outreach programs. Our 88th Helen Webb-Harris Founders’ Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament can be a resounding success with your help. We offer the following ways for you to help support our goals:

• Become a Sponsor.
• Become a Friend of Wake-Robin Donor.
• Participate in our golf tournament scramble.

We look forward to seeing you on course !
