OUR CLUB
CTYH supports an amazing group of highly athletic boys and girls from Northern California. We are the Sacramento regions premier travel ice hockey club. Capital Thunder Youth Hockey is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run exclusively by volunteers, and supported by community partners and our players themselves.



Many of our players graduate to playing in the Junior’s (semi-pro) or College ranks, with players committing to play in college after playing on our Varsity High School team. We pride ourselves on developing talented, hard-working young men and women who will move on to productive careers in numerous fields, all with a passion for sport and the mindfulness of a teammate.



This season we have over 100 skaters participating in our hockey programs, making up 9 teams ranging from age 7 up to 18 years old. We anticipate many of our teams to go on to the elite NorCal Playoffs, and hopefully make the run to States! (Last season 5 went to NorCal, and 3 went to States)
