Whether he was sprinting down a track, coaching young athletes, performing with the Swing Choir, or simply spending time with friends and family, Kai brought energy, kindness, humor, and heart to everything he did.

To honor Kai’s extraordinary legacy, we are proud to establish the Kai Messmer Memorial Golf Tournament and Scholarship Fund. Funds raised through this tournament and scholarship program will provide an annual scholarship at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, Kai’s alma mater, to a deserving student pursuing excellence in athletics, the arts, or both. The scholarship is intended to help young people follow their passions, develop their talents, and pursue educational opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
